Some will refer to it as a Hair Tattoo or Medical Hairline Tattooing or Hair Simulation or Follicle Replication. In the end, it's simply the art of creating the illusion of real hair follicles. Most practitioners have been trained to use one type of needle when performing scalp micropigmentation. Not our artists! We are trained to use different types of needles (single micro and three-point) in order to achieve optimal results. Aside from the hairline, our artists also pay very close attention to key factors such as blending, matching, feathering, density-building, texturing, scar concealment, etc., in order to produce undetectable natural results. It is simply the most realistic, non-invasive, cost-efficient hair loss treatment out there. If done correctly it is seamless, undetectable and, in many cases, unbelievable!
Yes, we blend the scar with surrounding hair and it becomes almost impossible to notice.

The look we provide is unbelievably authentic and realistic. Unless you told them, they would have no clue. Not one client we have treated has been noticed. It actually makes someone balding look younger and better.
There will be redness for 2-10 hours after treatment, it depends usually on your skin type. The pigments initial color will appear darker than the "cured" result. Typically within a week, the settled ink's color which will match yours will appear. After the first session, however, you will have your hairline back! If you are using this procedure to fill in thin areas, you will notice a significant improvement in the appearance of your hair. In addition, if you are using this procedure to cover a scar, your first procedure will drastically reduce the appearance of your scar.
Scalp micropigmentation should never be considered a one treatment process. Most clients can expect between 2-4 sessions to complete their treatment depending on the extent of hair loss or scarring. These treatments are usually spaced about 5- 7 days apart.
No. Scalp micropigmentation is a form of permanent cosmetics, but unlike tattooing or permanent makeup, the pigment used is designed to fall within the same color spectrum of short cut hair. The pigment contains no additional colorants or additives and will only lighten, not discolor over an extended time. Scalp micropigmentation also utilizes different equipment than traditional tattooing, ensuring the needle and machine are designed specifically for micropigmentation of the scalp.
After completion of your treatment (3-4 sessions) a client should expect the strength of the color to last for many years. Over a longer term, a client will very gradually begin to notice slight lightening (not discolor) of the treatment. When this occurs they can undergo a brief "touch up" session to restore any fading and secure many more years of their style.
